Penguin Book Country was an attempt by Penguin Group (now a part of Penguin Random House) to create a curated online space in which amateur authors could publish and share their work with fellows writers and readers without having to jump through the hoops of traditional publishing (not to mention the financial burden).  Although the service proved unsuccessful, this poster was created to convey the ideals of the service and brand, that is that publishing your work has become democratized and made available to all.
